Su from So – Kannada Horror-Comedy with a Social Message

The story which starts as funny takes a turn, when the ashok, young and carefree guy, is rumored to be possessed by a ghost. The first half revolves around uncovering the mystery of this possession and introduces us to the spirit of Sulochana from Someshwara.

In the second half, the story shifts its focus to Bhanu — Sulochana’s daughter — exploring her personal struggles and emotional journey. At its heart, the narrative is driven by two questions: Can Ashoka untangle himself from this strange mess and reclaim a normal life? And will Bhanu (Sandhya Arekere) find resolution to her own inner battles?

The movie’s strength is in its idea: a careless young man gets caught in a crazy situation but slowly finds meaning by standing up for a woman who was mistreated. Ashoka’s change from being silly to finding a sense of purpose is what gives the film its heart.

The film looks beautiful, with the camera capturing the peaceful charm of village life. The actors’ emotions are shown clearly and naturally, making each scene feel real. The background music adds to the m   ood, whether it’s a fun moment or something more emotional. A few well-placed songs with meaningful, catchy lyrics make the experience even better.
